Lloyds TSB Beefs Up Offshore Business

Lloyds TSB Offshore is beefing up its offshore banking operation with the arrival of a new Florida expatriate banking team. Based in Miami, the team will be led by Guy Goosen. Mr Goosen will be responsible for relationship marketing and customer acquisition strategies across Florida. He will be joined by Nanci Zarate and Felipe Restrepo who will be focusing on marketing offshore banking products. Mr Goosen’s appointment is part of Lloyds TSB Offshore’s strategy of having a local presence in key locations, to grow business volumes from new and existing customers. He was previously with Lloyds TSB Bank in the UK for the last two years, as a regional business development manager. “With are over one million UK expats living in Florida, we aim to raise their understanding of the financial opportunities available to them. Many of our customers who have chosen Florida as their home, still like to maintain financial arrangement in the UK, and our local presence will reassure them further,” said Mr Goosen.
